Pink October: a month to raise awareness, support, and take action
For more than 30 years, Pink October has brought together public, private, and non-profit organizations around a common cause: raising awareness about breast cancer screening and supporting research and patients.
It is also an opportunity for everyone, at their own level, to contribute to this fight. In Aix, this spirit of solidarity comes to life through events, but also through partnerships between local businesses and associations.
The Resource Center: a place of hope in the heart of Aix-en-Provence

Created in 2001, the Aix-en-Provence Resource Center offers comprehensive support, complementary to medical treatment, for people with cancer and their loved ones.
What makes it unique? An innovative approach focused on physical, psychological, and emotional well-being through PPACT Ressource®, a personalized program combining supportive care, support groups, creative activities, relaxation, and life coaching.
The center operates mainly thanks to donations and sponsorship, which makes local partnerships essential to the sustainability of its activities.
Folies de Provence: a boutique, an ethic, a commitment
Located in the heart of Aix, Arles, and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Folies de Provence boutiques offer products inspired by the Provençal way of life: natural cosmetics, fragrances, fine foods, and more. They also promote a certain idea of responsible commerce.
For Pink October 2025, the Folies de Provence team has chosen to partner with the Aix-en-Provence Resource Center by providing concrete support:
♡ Donation of all profits from of 180g candles in stores or onsales the website
♡ Creation of a solidarity display window in the campaign colors
♡ Increased visibility and support
♡ Raising awareness among customers in stores throughout the month
Local mobilization that makes a difference
Through this collaboration, the two organizations hope to:
✔️ Provide financial support for the Resource Center's programs
✔️ Raise awareness among store customers about the importance of screening and support
✔️ Create synergy between local businesses and social causes for a lasting impact
